About the Role
We are hiring a Staff Backend Engineer to drive API architecture, data modeling, and operational excellence across our core services.
What You'll Do
- Lead design and implementation of scalable backend services.
- Own technical decisions for reliability, performance, and observability.
- Partner with product and platform teams on roadmap execution.
- Coach engineers through design reviews and implementation plans.
What We're Looking For
- Deep experience designing and operating distributed backend systems.
- Strong TypeScript and PostgreSQL fundamentals.
- Track record of technical leadership and cross-team influence.
- Pragmatic decision making with strong product judgment.
