Overview
The Gmail integration connects your email to JobsiteOn's inbox feature. Send emails to customers from your own Gmail address, track conversation threads, and keep all communication history linked to the right contact — without switching between apps.
What you get

Setup instructions
- Navigate to Settings → Workspace → Integrations in JobsiteOn.
- Click Connect next to Google Gmail.
- Sign in with your Google account and authorize Gmail access.
- Choose which email address to use for sending (if you have aliases).
- Configure your email signature in JobsiteOn's email settings.
- Done — you can now send and view emails in the JobsiteOn inbox.

FAQ
Can multiple team members connect their Gmail? Yes. Each user connects their own Gmail account for personalized sending.
Does this read all my email? No. JobsiteOn only reads email threads that are linked to known contacts in your workspace. It does not scan or index your entire inbox.
Can I use email templates? Yes. JobsiteOn provides built-in templates with merge fields for customer name, job details, invoice amounts, and more.
What about attachments? You can send and receive attachments through the JobsiteOn inbox. Files are stored in your JobsiteOn workspace.
Security
- OAuth 2.0 authentication — your Google password is never stored.
- Minimal scope — only send and read permissions, no access to Drive, Calendar, or other services.
- All data transmitted over TLS 1.2+.
- Revoke access at any time from Settings or your Google account.
Troubleshooting
Emails going to spam? Make sure your domain has proper SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records configured. Since emails are sent through Gmail's servers, this is usually handled automatically.
Can't see replies? Verify the integration is still connected. Replies must be to the same thread — if a customer starts a new email instead of replying, it may not link automatically.
