What this guide covers

This guide maps the current settings sidebar structure for the non-company settings routes, including the new General, Account, Billing, Usage, Communications, and Integrations sections.

General routes

  • /settings/accessibility
  • /settings/company/regional
  • /settings/communications?tab=notifications-preferences

Account routes

  • /settings
  • /settings/accounts
  • /settings?panel=security

Workspace routes

  • /settings/workspace/billing
  • /settings/workspace/plans
  • /settings/workspace/usage

Communications routes

  • /settings/communications

Integrations routes

  • /settings/products/integrations/marketplace
  • /settings/products/integrations/installed
  • /settings/imports
  • /settings/products/integrations/quickbooks
  • General contains Regional Defaults, Appearance, and a Notifications Preferences handoff into Communications automation.
  • Account contains Profile, Email & Calendar, and a Security handoff into the security section of Your Profile.
  • Company contains Company Details, Branding, and Team / People for workspace identity and team-management workflows that used to live under Workspace.
  • Billing contains Overview, Plans, and a Payment Methods handoff into the payment-method section of the billing overview.
  • Usage contains Usage Stats & Limits and a Usage History handoff into the usage-activity section.
  • Communications contains Email Templates, Automated Messages, and SMS Settings, all on the shared communications route.
  • Integrations contains Marketplace, Installed, QuickBooks, and Import Center.

General settings

Use the General section this way:

  • /settings/company/regional remains the canonical route for regional defaults even though it is now discovered from Settings -> General.
  • /settings/accessibility controls appearance and theme preferences.
  • Notifications Preferences opens /settings/communications?tab=notifications-preferences, which lands on the communications automation controls without creating a separate duplicate page.

Account settings

Use the Account section this way:

  • /settings remains the canonical Your Profile route for profile details.
  • Security reuses /settings?panel=security so password, recovery, MFA, and session controls stay on the same profile page.
  • /settings/accounts continues to own connected email/calendar accounts and forwarding behavior.

Billing settings

Use the dedicated Billing section this way:

  • /settings/workspace/billing is the commercial billing page for current subscription status, billing interval, next charge date, invoice history, payment-method state, and plan-change guidance.
  • Payment Methods is a direct handoff to /settings/workspace/billing?panel=payment-methods so the navigation opens the billing-contact and payment-method section without inventing a second billing route.
  • /settings/workspace/plans is the pricing decision page for plan and billing interval changes. It now shows the Starter, Team, and Business pricing cards, a separate Looking for enterprise? contact-sales action, a Compare features button that opens the public pricing page, and FAQ answers below the plan cards. Starter is presented as a 1-user plan with 20 credits/month, Team includes 100 credits/month with unlimited users, and Business includes 300 credits/month with unlimited users.
  • /settings/workspace/usage is the credits page for remaining usage, activity, purchased-credit history, and reset timing. The owner-app shell also exposes a lower-left REMAINING CREDITS card that links here, keeps the percent remaining above the bar, shows the reset date below it, displays the exact used-credit count under the reset line, and colors the bar blue above 70%, orange from 31%-70%, and red from 0%-30%.
  • Usage History is a direct handoff to /settings/workspace/usage?panel=history, which keeps the canonical usage route while opening the activity/history section of the same page.

People settings

Use /settings/company/people to:

  • review current team members
  • launch invite creation from Create a team
  • launch invite creation from Invite people
  • resend pending invites
  • cancel pending invites

Both invite-entry buttons route to /team/new.

Communications settings

For outbound delivery controls, use /settings/communications:

  • the Email Templates tab manages reusable quote, invoice, job, and general email templates
  • the Automated Messages tab manages defaults for Send a Bcc to myself, Notify customer via SMS, reminder cadence, and quiet hours
  • the SMS Settings tab manages the Twilio-backed SMS provider settings, preview-link behavior, and test-send workflow

Integrations settings

For integrations:

  • use /settings/products/integrations/marketplace to browse available tools
  • use /settings/products/integrations/installed to review connected tools
  • use /settings/imports from Settings -> Integrations -> Import Center when you need to migrate provider data, including Tradebase CSV exports
  • use /settings/products/integrations/quickbooks as the main QuickBooks dashboard, with its mapping, sync, error, and log routes nested beneath it

Validation checklist

  • Each listed route opens successfully.
  • General and Account entries land on the expected existing route/section rather than a dead-end duplicate page.
  • /settings/company/people shows active members.
  • Pending invites can be resent or cancelled from the people page.
  • Billing, plans, and usage each present one clear job without duplicating the same details:
    • Billing = subscription/accounting
    • Plans = pricing decisions
    • Usage = credits/activity
  • /settings/workspace/plans keeps the main plan grid limited to Starter, Team, and Business, while enterprise routes through the separate contact-sales action.
  • Communication defaults save and persist after refresh.
